Today in room 1 we had a very special visitor. Meng Foon the mayor of gisborne capital NZ we told him what we have done to help the hamanatua stream he told us what he does and where he lives. a mayor speaks for both the government and the community as a whole a mayor is also a presiding officer and member of a city council so that is the role of Meng Foon as a mayor. that's all I know about Meng Foon and what he does:)

Troy predicted (he was in the jump jam crew) that there was 15 people on stage there were three shows about gymnastics but thats all I have to say about the WBS talent quest.

bullying
Learning Intention: I am sharing my thoughts about bullying at school
The drawings on this wall are about what people love about WBS. And what they think a GOOD and BAD friend is. |
I chose this quote because it's important to stay respectful and responsible to people around the world. Even if your a bully. |

duathlon feelings
LI: I am sharing some of my ideas, feelings and thoughts on my blog about the
Duathlon today!
Success Criteria:
|
- My feelings before the duathlon were bad feelings when I heard people cheering and its really loud.
- When I was about to start I didn't really care if I lost.
- During the race I was walking all the way.
- I was really hot and my throat felt dry.
- At the end I was quite sad to know I came last but I didn't care.
I also didn't like it when people were cheering because it makes you feel bad when you come last.

My reading wheel
Today everyone I'm going to tell you the maths and book work I did!
The difference between radius a sector and a diameter is that the radius starts from the middle to the side. A sector is like a slice of pie or pizza. And a diameter will go from one side all the way to the other. But the way I learnt this was by making a reading wheel with six sectors! One for radius one for sectors and one diameter! But on the other side was about a book named The Ballad of Footrot Flats. It’s a book about a man named Wal Footrot, his grandfather was a land thief so during the book a biker gang stole his dog. This mainly takes place on a HUGE bridge that Wal has to jump off to get his dog back. My favourite part is when he jumps off to save his dog and what's really cool about it is that he didn't use a bungee rope! And that's the maths and reading work I have done this week I hope you enjoyed!
